- After School Club for children up to age 17 inclusive
The club meets term time only on a Monday to Thursday from 3.30pm to 5.30pm. It is registered with
Ofsted for up to 15 children per evening. On arrival children have a light snack and can enjoy
activities of their choice. There is a choice of activities: music, painting, craft activities,
cookery, computer and multi sensory activities. There is a small charge for attending which is
- Holiday scheme days for children aged 5 to 17 inclusive
Days run from 9.30am to 3.30pm and spaces are available for up to 10 children. The scheme
provides both enjoyable and stimulating activities which gives parents and carers a
break during the school holidays.
- Children’s Days – Saturdays
These are group sessions for a maximum of 10 children. The days run on the first and third
Saturdays of each month from 10am to 4pm. This provides the families with a full days break
from caring for their child with a disability.

The project offers services to children and adults with learning disabilities in South West
Leicestershire including holiday play schemes, weekly leisure and recreational activities,
educational opportunities and community integration.
How to refer your child to SNIPS
SNIPS accepts referrals from Social Services, Health Visitors, Teachers, parent/carers,
family members and anyone else who would value their services.
